Tejas Tubular de Mexico has North America's most complete list of Products. All of the couplings manufactured by us are made from the best coupling stock from pre-qualified seamless mills. All of our alloy tubing couplings are made from high-quality coupling stock heat treated in our facilities.

Casing Couplings

Our casing coupling manufacturing facilities utilize high quality coupling stock from pre-qualified seamless mills. High-speed CNC lathes maintain the tight tolerances required by the industry. All casing couplings are manufactured to API 5CT latest edition.

Pup Joints

Tejas Tubular is the largest manufacturer of API pup joints in North America. All of our pup joints are manufactured from the highest quality API seamless tubing, per API specification 5CT latest edition, with full traceability. All Tejas Tubular pup joints are made with the Tejas Tubular quench and temper process in our own heat treat lines.

Tejas Tubular de Mexio is committed to maintaining high quality products. In order to honor this commitment we have developed a quality assurance manual that describes our quality management system and how it conforms to the requirements of the American Petroleum Institute (API) Spec Q1. The API Specification Q1 outlines the requirements for the consistent and reliable production of parts manufactured in accordance with API specifications. An API license and authorization to monogram is issued only after a quality assurance manual has been submitted and approved and an onsite audit by an API representative has confirmed that the applicant adheres to the requirements of both Q1 and the appropriate API product specifications. Specification Q1 is consistent with the requirements of ISO 9000. While it is necessary to have a valid API license certificate to apply the API monogram, a manufacturer can produce products which meet API requirements without the license and mark the product only with the specification designation, for example “5CT” for casing or tubing. However many users require the use of the API monogram to insure that API is auditing the manufacturer on a regular basis.

The American Petroleum Institute has granted Tejas Tubular de Mexico the right to use the Official API Monogram® on manufactured products under the conditions in the official publications of the America Petroleum Institute entitled API Q1® and API Spec 5CT, API Spec 5L, API Spec 5DP and API Spec 7-1.
